Get comfortable with hand and power tools while building small wooden items. You’ll learn measuring and marking techniques, straight and angled cuts, drilling and fastening, and simple joints (butt and lap). We focus on accuracy, safety, and repeatable steps that produce tidy work. Finishing includes sanding, sealing, and hardware fitting for durability. Typical mini-projects include a crate, shelf, or simple stool. Along the way you’ll learn to read basic plans, estimate materials, and select timber and fasteners wisely. A great foundation for further woodworking, household repairs, or small product sales.
