Who We Are
The Fatuma Zaid Foundation empowers youth and communities through accredited skills training, wellness, and education. We provide practical opportunities that lead to employment, entrepreneurship, and social upliftment.
PROGRAMMES
We turn learning into opportunity through practical training, wrap-around support, and real pathways to work or enterprise. Many intakes are subsidised; sponsored seats are available.
Admin Help (Office Administration Basics)
Practical office admin skills—phones, email, documents, spreadsheets, filing, meetings, and customer service.
Poultry & Egg Production (Starter)
Set up a small backyard poultry unit for egg or meat production.
Trade Tasters
Try multiple trades safely: welding, plumbing, and electrical basics.
Crop Production Basics
Small‑scale poultry care and cropping with basic sales know‑how.
Food Gardening
Learn soil preparation, composting, and bed planning for high‑yield gardens. Plant seedlings, manage watering/irrigation, and apply integrated pest management and crop rotation. Suitable for home or community plots.
